Lance C. Ball, Esq.

For more than seven years, Lance C. Ball, Esq. has represented individuals, businesses and community associations and successfully advocated for their legal rights through often complex and challenging circumstances.

Mr. Ball received his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served on the Executive Board of the esteemed Moot Court Board and as the Student Writing Editor of the Inter-American Law Review.  Mr. Ball holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and Business Law from Central Michigan University.  Prior to law school, Mr. Ball enjoyed a successful career in the real estate and mortgage lending industry.

When Hurricane Charley devastated much of Charlotte County in 2004, Mr. Ball relocated his family to the area in order to help people whose homes and businesses had been damaged or destroyed.  He joined the law firm of Wotitzky, Wotitzky, Ross, Goldman, Sturges & Tuttle, P.A., in Punta Gorda, Florida.  Continuing his effort to serve the community, Mr. Ball participated in and is a graduate of the Leadership Charlotte class of 2009, which helped raise funds to educate tomorrow’s leaders.  Mr. Ball is also an active member of Edgewater United Methodist Church which supports numerous outreach efforts to needy families in our local community.

In 2010, Mr. Ball founded the Ball Law Center to provide quality legal representation at reasonable rates to businesses, individuals and community associations in Charlotte and Sarasota Counties. He concentrates his practice in the following areas of law:  Commercial Litigation, Foreclosures, Landlord/Tenant, Business, Real Estate, Construction, Creditor/Debtor Relations and Collections, Contract Disputes, and Consumer Law.

Mr. Ball is a member of the Florida Bar, the Charlotte County Bar, the American Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.  He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.  He holds a Florida Real Estate Salesperson license, and is formerly licensed as a Florida Mortgage Broker.  Finally, Mr. Ball is CV rated by Martindale Hubbell, a peer review rating that is a testament to his high ethical standards and dedication to quality legal representation.

Mr. Ball currently lives with his beautiful wife and son in North Port, Florida.
